This role is accountable not only for operational excellence but also for transforming IT into a proactive business enabler that improves productivity, collaboration, and scalability while maintaining cost discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Role Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>End-to-end ownership of IT across infrastructure, network, endpoint, collaboration, service desk, and enterprise platforms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leadership of Pune-based centralized IT team with coordination of global site support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ownership of IT budgets, vendor ecosystem, and platform strategy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accountability for service quality, uptime, and user experience across all studios<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Define and execute a multi-year IT roadmap aligned to business growth and operational needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build a scalable operating model leveraging centralization, automation, and standardization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish strong service management discipline including SLAs, KPIs, reporting, and governance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive platform consolidation and reduce fragmentation across tools and systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure high availability and resilience of infrastructure and workplace systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead vendor selection, negotiations, and ongoing performance management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with Security Lead to ensure secure-by-design technology environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate IT strategy, risks, and performance to executive leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Candidates Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>12\u201318 years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in leadership roles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven ability to scale IT operations in a multi-location\/global organization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong technical foundation across infrastructure, M365, networking, and IT operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience managing budgets, vendors, and transformation initiatives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong leadership presence and stakeholder management capability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Success Metrics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IT service uptime and reliability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SLA adherence and reduction in escalations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>User satisfaction and productivity improvements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Budget adherence and cost optimization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delivery of roadmap milestones<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why Join This Role (Head of IT) Role Purpose The Head of IT is a senior leadership role responsible for building, stabilizing, and scaling a centralized IT organization that supports GlobalStep\u2019s global delivery model.
