We work with the world&rsquo;s leading game studios and publishers from delivery centers in India, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Romania, and Portugal. We are approximately 1,200 people across six countries, operating through thirteen legal entities, and serving more than one hundred paying clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are privately held and founder-led. We run lean, move fast, and care deeply about the craft of the work we do. We are now building a stronger Finance function to support the next phase of our growth \u2014 and this role is the operational anchor of that function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why This Role Is Different<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most senior finance roles in Pune are narrow \u2014 you own AP, or you own payroll, or you own collections, or you own one slice of the books. This one is broad. You will own the transactional engine of the finance function \u2014 AP, AR, payroll across six countries, vendor management, reconciliations, and client invoicing \u2014 alongside the 13-week cash flow model that the Director of Finance and CEO rely on weekly. You will coordinate tax compliance across all six jurisdictions through our external advisors. You will execute intercompany settlements that keep the group moving. You will partner directly with the Director of Finance on the work that defines how this finance function performs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accuracy of our AP coding determines the integrity of our profitability views by service line and by location \u2014 which is how this business is run. Our collections discipline shapes our DSO and the working capital we have available to deploy. Our client invoicing shapes both how quickly clients pay us and the quality of the commercial relationship while doing so. Our cash flow model shapes the capital decisions we make every month. This is a role where process discipline meets commercial instinct meets analytical rigor \u2014 and where doing the job well requires all three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also a role designed for someone who wants to grow. The current scope is broad; the path forward is unbounded by the role title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What You Will Own<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hands on ownership in accounts payable\u00a0payable<\/strong> : End-to-end AP operations across every entity. Three-way matching mandatory. Maintain AP coding accuracy as the foundation of every downstream management report \u2014 by Line of Service, by Location, by account, and by project.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>DPO discipline :\u00a0<\/strong>Optimize payment timing to vendors deliberately, evaluate early-payment discount economics, and report DPO as a named monthly KPI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hands on ownership in accounts receivable<\/strong> :<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Drive collections in line with contractual payment terms. Collections in a services business is a relationship discipline \u2014 partner with Client Services and the customer relationship leaders to keep cash flowing without damaging relationships.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Client invoices and collections follow up<\/strong> :<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Produce all client-facing invoices. Every invoice is a client deliverable \u2014 accurate, complete, professionally presented, and accompanied by the supporting documentation clients need to process payment efficiently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Timesheet-based billing :\u00a0<\/strong>Own the monthly control that ties paid timesheets to billed timesheets. Unreconciled hours are either revenue leakage or margin misstatement \u2014 neither is acceptable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Multi-country payrol<\/strong> :<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Execute payroll across India, Canada, the US, the UK, Portugal, and Romania. Statutory compliance in every\u00a0jurisdiction.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Multi-entity closings and reconciliations or Multi country finance operations<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Co ordination with auditors, tax consultants, or compliance advisors :\u00a0<\/strong>Coordinate tax compliance across all six jurisdictions through our external advisors. Maintain the consolidated compliance calendar, ensure documentation flows on time, track filings, and surface issues to the Director of Finance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>13-week cash flow model.&nbsp;<\/strong>Produce and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;the 13-week rolling cash flow model on a weekly&nbsp;cadence. The Director of Finance reviews it weekly; you produce it and stand behind the numbers.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Intercompany settlements.&nbsp;<\/strong>Execute intercompany settlements based on direction from the Director of Finance. Book entries, execute transfers, and reconcile balances.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Banking operations.&nbsp;<\/strong>Own day-to-day banking operations across all geographies \u2014 payments, transfers, reconciliations, routine queries.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Vendor management and brand representation.&nbsp;<\/strong>You are the operational face of&nbsp;GlobalStep&nbsp;to every vendor in every country. Onboarding, dispute resolution, payment posture \u2014 all of it.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>SOPs and process change.&nbsp;<\/strong>Standardize operating procedures across all entities. Drive automation across the transactional estate.
