Due to continued global growth, GlobalStep has a new opportunity for a VP of Sales for our services within the Games Industry. We are looking for someone to focus on revenue generation, through new client acquisition and retention, coupled with management of the business development and sales team.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Leading and managing the business development/sales teams  
  • Develops measurement models and uses diagnostic tools to help identify sales performance indicators, key areas of opportunity and Salesforce training needs. 
  • Recommends strategic priorities, establishes Salesforce performance metrics and sales effectiveness tracking methods in order to maintain and improve the company’s competitive advantage in the market. 
  • Evaluate and input the design of sales incentive plans in line with analyses. 
  • Identification and prioritization of growth and profit-improvement projects. 
  • Business case development and financial analysis in support of key business decisions. 
  • Development of transformation project plans and securing resources required to deliver. 
  • Directly support Business Unit leaders on high-profile strategic projects. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to be well positioned to best advise the customer
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products and services
  • Act as an escalation point for customer issues, working to ensure that all issues get resolved satisfactorily and promptly

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, business, marketing, or related field
  • Extensive experience in sales within the gaming industry
  • Proven experience managing a global sales team
  • Strong working knowledge of industry products, competitive products, and the market
  • Experience leading large, multi-million-dollar, complex sales cycles
  • You have scaled a rapidly growing go-to-market organization
  • Strong working knowledge of industry products, competitive products, and the market
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills
  • Travel: 50%
