As VP of Solutions & Brand Marketing, you’ll play a critical role in building the foundation for how GlobalStep brings its services to market—and in making sure those efforts translate directly into growth and brand impact.
This is not a role for someone who wants to inherit a playbook—it’s for someone excited to write it. You’ll immerse yourself in understanding who our customers are, what matters most to them, and how our services solve their unique challenges across QA, Localization, Engineering, Art, and Player Support. You’ll use these insights to shape both our solutions marketing and brand strategy, ensuring a consistent, resonant, and scalable presence in the market.
You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Service Line leaders, and Marketing teammates across the globe to align efforts, accelerate results, and strengthen the GlobalStep brand from the inside out.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead GlobalStep’s Solutions & Brand Marketing function—establishing strategy, structure, and processes to drive market growth, brand equity, and customer relevance.
- Develop and evolve GlobalStep’s brand strategy and positioning to reflect the full spectrum of our services and the value we deliver to game developers and publishers worldwide.
- Ensure consistency in brand expression—including messaging, tone of voice, and visual identity—across digital, content, sales, and employer brand touchpoints.
- Define and continuously refine buyer personas and customer journey maps for each service line, based on direct input from clients, delivery teams, presales, and market research.
- Translate customer insights into compelling narratives and positioning frameworks that support marketing campaigns, sales conversations, and thought leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Service Line leadership, and Delivery teams to align go-to-market strategy with market needs, service capabilities, and revenue goals.
- Lead initiatives to build awareness and trust in the GlobalStep brand, through industry partnerships, event presence, awards, and reputation management efforts.
- Initiate and oversee customer and competitive intelligence efforts, ensuring GlobalStep has reliable data to inform branding, positioning, and messaging decisions.
- Develop and lead a small but high-impact team across brand management, sales enablement, market research, and presales—coaching them to execute with clarity and accountability.
- Play a critical role in transforming marketing from foundational to strategic, laying the groundwork for scalable growth while delivering real, short-term business impact.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior-level role owning solutions or go-to-market strategy for a services-based organization; background in tech, consulting, enterprise software, or digital/creative services strongly preferred.
- Proven success leading and developing a marketing function, including:
o Designing and executing go-to-market strategies
o Building brand strategy and messaging platforms across services and regions
o Aligning marketing outputs directly with sales, customer success, and revenue goals
- Experience defining and evolving a brand across internal and external channels, with an emphasis on consistency, clarity, and differentiation.
- Deep understanding of solutions marketing frameworks and how to position intangible, complex service offerings to different buyer types (e.g., production, ops, tech, procurement, C-level).
- Skilled at building buyer personas and customer journey maps through direct and indirect research, and turning insights into clear, actionable marketing plans.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate market and performance data into strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product/Service Line Leads, Executive Leadership, and Marketing counterparts to drive unified execution.
- Experienced team builder and coach, with a track record of mentoring roles such as brand, research, enablement, and presales contributors.
- Highly effective in fast-moving environments, where both long-term strategy and near-term delivery are equally critical to success.
