At GlobalStep’s Games QA Test Centre of Excellence, we’re building a world-class team of 150+ game testers who help bring AAA and indie games to life—and we need a Junior Recruiter who shares that passion to help us find the best talent.

What You’ll Do:
Find & Attract Top Talent
- Connect with gamers and tech-savvy candidates who are looking to break into the industry.
- Build relationships through job postings, networking, and targeted outreach.
- Promote job opportunities on GlobalStep’s website, LinkedIn, and gaming job boards.
- Engage with community services, colleges, agencies, and online platforms to source potential candidates.
Screen & Select the Best
- Review applications and identify top candidates with the right mix of passion and skills.
- Conduct engaging screening interviews that assess gaming knowledge, attention to detail, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate skills assessments to ensure candidates have what it takes.
- Act as a point of contact, building strong candidate relationships throughout the selection process.
Manage Interviews & Scheduling
- Schedule & coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Manage interview logistics, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidate and the hiring team.
- Ensure candidates feel prepared and excited by providing clear details on interview formats and expectations.
Engage With & Guide Candidates
- Act as the friendly face of GlobalStep, ensuring candidates feel excited and informed.
- Keep candidates in the loop with regular updates and timely feedback.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience, from first contact to final offer.
Build & Maintain a Talent Pipeline
- Keep an organized internal candidate database and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) up to date.
- Track and update candidate records to support future hiring needs.
- Build and nurture a talent pipeline for upcoming roles, ensuring we always have top talent ready.
- Stay connected with potential candidates, keeping the gaming community engaged with GlobalStep opportunities
Support Offers & Onboarding
- Facilitate background checks, draft offer letters and complete employment paperwork.
- Work with HR to streamline onboarding so new hires hit the ground running.
- Make sure every new hire feels welcomed and ready to start their journey in game testing
What You Bring
Location: Must be a local resident and available to work on-site in Richardson, TX daily (non-negotiable).
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Recruiting Experience – Whether it’s formal HR experience or informally helping others find jobs, you know how to connect the right people to the right roles.
- Strong Communication Skills – You love talking to people, building relationships, and making a great impression.
- Organizational Skills – You can juggle multiple tasks, keep things running smoothly, and meet deadlines like a pro.
- Tech-Savvy – You’re comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and applicant tracking systems.
- Attention to Detail & Quality-Focused – You notice the little things that others might miss and ensure every step of the hiring process is flawless.
- Proactive & Tenacious – You don’t just wait for candidates to apply – you go out and find the best talent. You’re persistent, determined, and always thinking ahead to solve challenges before they arise.
Bonus Points if You:
- Have experience in QA testing
- Have a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a gaming-related field
- Are a gamer yourself with a deep love for video games and an understanding of different genres.
Salary: US$ 15/- per hour
