Requirements

• 1+ years experience in Quality Assurance Processes and Methodologies in gaming on at least 2 titles (mobile/PC/console)

• Experience testing a game at various phases of its development, from pre-alpha to live operations

• Experience with test case creation and basic test planning knowledge

• Demonstrable aptitude for identifying defects across platforms and genres. Creates excellent defect reports including supporting information required to debug and prioritise a defect

• Excellent attention to detail in scripted and non-scripted testing activities

• Effective workload management and has the capability to quickly adapt to changing project priorties

• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Proficient in the use of basic testing tools e.g. JIRA, TestRail, MS Excel

• Flexibility to work outside of traditional office hours as required e.g. 11 am – 8 pm

Responsibilities / Accomplishments

• Software Testing including Functional, Exploratory, Usability, Compatibility, Usability and Regression testing
• Familiarize yourself with the goals and testing strategy of every project you work on and identify any problems that could impact testing before the project commences
• Use established and innovative methods to identify high value defects, minimizing the number of invalid and duplicate defects found
• Create concise bug reports, including root cause analysis
• Execute test cases accurately and efficiently
• Manage your workload as assigned by the QA Lead
• Communicate quality risks and dependencies in a timely manner to ensure that they have visibility and are addressed
• Share your insights as to the playability of a title
• Share constructive opinions to improve the teams way of working
