Senior Game Tester

Responsibilities / Accomplishments

• Building upon your experience as a Game Tester, this role offers the opportunity to take a leadership position within the QA team and have a greater impact on the quality of our games.
• Lead test execution: Design and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring all aspects of the game are thoroughly tested.
• Mentor junior testers: Guide and support junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow.
• Identify and analyze complex bugs: Troubleshoot and diagnose intricate issues, pinpointing root causes and providing clear, actionable reports.
• Collaborate with developers: Work closely with developers to ensure bug fixes address the root problem and don’t introduce new issues.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends: Proactively research and implement new QA tools and methodologies to optimize testing processes.
• Contribute to test strategy: Provide valuable insights to improve overall testing strategy and effectiveness.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in game testing on multiple projects (mobile/PC/console)
• Strong leadership qualities: Ability to motivate and guide junior team members.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Work effectively across teams (development, design) to ensure a high-quality final product.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop solutions.
• Passion for gaming: Deep understanding of various game genres and a keen eye for detail.
